Description

These Wheat Ear Pennies are the last of their kind - 20 Coins, one from each year from 1939 to 1958. All were mined of 95% copper except the 1943 coin, which was struck of zinc-coated steel when copper was needed for the war effort. Coins are in circulated condition with handling wear, all dates are visible. please see pictures. A nice way to start collecting them all. Date run starting 1939 through 1958 various mint locations. Coins are displayed on a cardboard folder, on back a nice history description of the Lincoln Wheat Penny. Thanks for looking!
